Nootropics vs Caffeine: What's the Difference?
Caffeine is a specific psychoactive stimulant commonly consumed in coffee and tea. “Nootropic” is a much broader category label. Caffeine can be discussed as a cognitive-performance substance, but not every nootropic is a stimulant or contains caffeine.
Practical distinction
If you already drink coffee, adding a product may alter your total stimulant exposure depending on its ingredients. Check labels rather than assuming a “focus” supplement is caffeine-free.
